PairBooth
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything to know before your first PairBooth

Quick answers about cameras, codes, privacy, downloads and taking photos together from different places.

Can two people use PairBooth from different countries?

Yes. Each participant uses their own browser and camera. Internet speed and regional network restrictions may affect performance.

Are both cameras live at the same time?

No. The experience is turn-based. PairBooth uploads only the still pose a participant intentionally captures, not a continuous video feed.

Do we need an account or app?

No. Create a temporary booth in a modern browser and invite one person with the code or private link.

Does PairBooth record audio?

No. PairBooth does not request microphone access or record audio.

Who can see the photos?

The two devices holding valid credentials for the temporary booth and the infrastructure needed to deliver the service. There is no public gallery.

How long are booth photos kept?

Booth access expires after 24 hours. Starting a new round removes the previous round, and ending the booth requests deletion sooner. Limited technical logs or backups may have separate short retention.

Can I post the strip on social media?

Only if every identifiable person shown separately agrees to that sharing. Permission to take a photo is not automatically permission to publish it.

What happens if someone joins without permission?

End the booth immediately and create a new one. Do not publish booth codes. Report suspected abuse to [email protected].

Which filters and colours are available?

There are nine finishes—Original, B&W, Vintage, Golden, Nordic, Faded, Noir, Vivid and Soft—and eight print palettes.

How do I delete a booth?

Use “End booth & delete photos”. For a privacy or deletion request, contact [email protected] with the approximate date and time, without attaching sensitive images.
